This is Axel of the Newport Harbor surf team.  This board was made from a Marko Foam eps blank and glassed in epoxy resin.   This was was probably one of the lightest boards we have ever made.

Elephant seals, sharks, and no waves!

There was no shortage of sea life on our surf trip up north this weekend.   With the beaches covered with elephant seals and news of a shark attack at a beach we checked only one day earlier I don't feel so bad about not having some surf shots to post.   Sometimes getting skunked isn't so bad
